Victim Support Wandsworth is an independent local charity dedicated to providing emotional and practical support to victims, witnesses and others affected by crime.

Our service is FREE and CONFIDENTIAL and we have specially trained staff and volunteers who are here to help people cope with the effects of crime. Our service is available to anyone who lives in the Borough of Wandsworth, regardless of whether the crime has been reported or not,but we can also provide information on Victim Support Schemes in other boroughs.

What we offer:

• Someone to talk to in confidence
• A non-judgemental service
• Crimes do not have to be reported to use our service, but we can report the crime for the client
• Information on other services in the borough.
• Assistance with criminal injuries compensation forms

Specialist Services:

• Young Personâ??s Service â?? one to one service designedspecifically for those aged 10 to 19.
• Witness Service â?? for people attending Balham Youth Court and South Western Magistrates Court to give evidence, offering support before, during and after the trial.
• Counselling Service â?? providing a long-term, more in-depth opportunity for clients to come to terms with the affects of crime on their lives.
• Hate Crime Service â?? available to anyone who is experiencing domestic violence, racist or homophobic crime, assisting people in exploring the options available.
